Baking soda
1 Teaspoon
Salt

Red Velvet cake

I developed my unique red velvet cake recipe to suit my customers preference

  1. In a bowl of a standing mixer, add oil, eggs , sugar, food coloring and yogurt and mix on medium speed until well incorporated
  2. If you are using liquid red food coloring add to the wet ingredients but if you are using powder sieve into flour and mix with a whisk until well incorporated
  3. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients on low speed until well combined
  4. Add vinegar and baking soda solution and mix until well combined
  5. Add vanilla and mix on low speed until well combined
  6. Pour into 2 6 inches pans lined with parchment paper and bake ina preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the middle of the cake
