Okra soup

This delicious Nigerian soup can be taken during lunch.

  1. - Slice the okra to your desired shape.
  2. Slice the uziza leaves
  3. Grind the peppers and crayfish
  4. Chop the onion
  5. Wash the beef and cow skin (kpomo) with clean water
  6. Wash the stockfish and set aside in a clean bowl
  7. In a clean pot, add the beef and kpomo, and season with salt, pepper, seasoning cubes and onion then cook for 10 minutes
  8. Put the already washed stockfish in the same pot used in cooking beef and kpomo and cook in a medium heat for 15 minutes
  9. After 4 minutes, add palm oil
  10. Add pepper and seasoning cubes, allow to cook for 5 minutes
  11. Add the beef and kpomo and stir, allow it to cook for another 5minutes
  12. Add the okra and stir well
  13. After 5 seconds, add the uziza leaves and stir, and allow to cook for a minute.
  14. Wow! The okra soup is ready, serve with fufu or eba, or any swallow of your choice.
