Ogbono soup with okro

Ogbono soup (Draw Soup) is a rich, nutrition-packed Nigerian soup made from ogbono seeds (ground African mango seeds), palm oil, assorted meats, and traditional spices and I will be adding okro to it.

  1. In a pot,put your meat and spice with(salt,fresh pepper,onions and stock cube),cook untill soft

  2. Once your meat is ready,set aside the meat and the stock

  3. Heat up palm oil,fry onions and fresh pepper

  4. Add in crayfish and stir

  5. Add in your periwinkle

  6. Add in your meat and allow to fry for 2 minutes

  7. Add in your meat stock,and your ogbono and let it boil untill ogbono starts to draw

  8. Add your okro and mix,allow to cook for 2 minutes

  9. Add in your uziza leaves(hot leaf) and curry leaves and mix.. Turn off the heat ,food is ready.
