Ogbono soup (Draw soup)
  1. Draw soup is a rich and nourishing soup native of the east.
  2. It is prepared by boiling or frying method eaten with garri, semovita, starch or fufu as a main dish.
  1. Season the meat with salt, seasoning cube, onion and pepper
  2. Steam by cooking on low heat untill the juice dries up
  3. Add water, stock fish and cook till tender
  4. Using another pot, boil water, add the stock to it, palm oil, seasoning cube, salt, crayfish and pepper
  5. Add the grounded ogbono and okpeye little by little as you stir in to avoid forming lumps
  6. Allow to boil for 3minutes, add the smoked fish, cooked meat and stock fish
  7. Add your okro if using, cook for few minutes, add the shredded pumpkin leaf (ugu) and allow to simmer for 2minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and serve with fufu or eba.
