Gbegiri (bean soup)

Gbegiri: bright yellow soup made with honey beans.

  1. 1. Peel the beans and soak for 10 minutes
  2. Transfer the peeled and soaked bean in a pot and add water to cover the beans, cook on medium heat until very soft
  3. Mashed with jute broom or pour in a blender for a smooth result.
  4. Pour back in the pot, on a low heat, add some seasoning cubes, grinded crayfish, blended pepper, salt to taste and palm oil.
  5. Stir well and allow to cook for another 3-5 minutes.
