FRIED UNRIPE PLANTAIN WITH PEPPER SAUCE

Unripe plantain! Yes, you heard me right, unripe plantain with pepper sauce, give this recipe a try and you’ll thank me later because it’s very delicious

  1. Wash and peel your plantain, slice to the size of your choice,then season with salt. Set aside
  2. Heat up red oil in a frying pan, pour in the sliced plantain once the oil is hot enough,fry till the plantain is well cooked and a little crispy. Then remove from oil and let it cool

  3. Prepare your pepper sauce ingredients by cutting your onions

  4. Crush your pepper with a grater so as to get a rough texture

  5. Heat up red oil in a small pot, pour in the onions,fry for 3 minutes,pour in the pepper, season well with salt, fry for 5 more minutes
