  1. Select the beans, separate any impurities, and wash them thoroughly. Pour the cleaned beans into a sizeable pot.
  2. Place the pot on the fire, cook for a few minutes, drain the water, and set aside the beans.
  3. Add water to the pot, place it on the fire, add the beans that were set aside, sliced onions, and allow it to boil.
  4. Cook for 45 minutes, then add salt, seasoning cubes, and pepper. Add more water if needed and allow it to cook until slightly tender before adding the red oil.
  5. Continue cooking until the beans are tender.
  6. Your beans is ready! Enjoy it with your preferred accompaniment, such as pap, custard, bread, etc.
