Crispy fried yam with pepper sauce

Crispy fried yam with pepper sauce is a delicious savory dish that can be served as a starter or side. This dish is so easy to make.

  1. 1. Peel off the yam bark, slice and soak it in cold water for some minutes.
  2. 2. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and deep fry the yam. Add water to it not so much, this would make the yam crispy outside and soft inside.
  3. 3. When it's ready, gently place in a dry sieve to remove excess oil.
  4. 4. Blend your fresh peppers and tomatoes and slice your onion.
  5. 5. Add little oil into an empty pot or pan. Add in the your diced onions, crayfish, curry, thyme and stir, then your pepper and tomato mix and stir. Cover and allow it to cook for 10mins.
  6. 6. Then add your seasoning, salt to adjust the taste (small amount), stir fry for some minutes.
  7. 7. When it's done, stir and serve with your already fried yam. Enjoy!
