COCONUT FLAVORED MOI MOI

This recipe is not your regular moi moi recipe and you should give it a try, let’s get cooking…

  1. In this recipe I'm using already peeled and washed beans , all I had to do is soak the beans for 10 minutes in water and it looks like this

  2. I transferred the beans into a blender, went in with some tatatshe and onions, the secret to get a very nice moi moi is in the amount of onions and tatshe, tatashe gives the moi moi it's colour

  3. Then I went in with coconut milk, you can use 2 tins store bought coconut milk for this

  5. Transfer the barter into a bowl and whisk, it makes your moi moi to be very fluffy

  6. Then go in with 1 cup of coconut oil or regular vegetable oil

  7. Add some seasoning to taste, do not over season, you want your moi moi to be moderate

  8. Go in with your Titus fish, smoked or cooked

  9. Mix the barter very well to evenly combine the ingredients.

  10. Transfer the barter into a bowl or moi moi leaf for cooking
