CHINESE STIR FRY SAUCE

This sauce is a way to step away from the regular tomato stew . It is easy to put together and the ingredients can be found easily.

  1. In a pot add some vegetable oil, go in with some chopped onions, saute for a minute then go in with your chopped bell peppers and carrot, fry that for 3 minutes,

  2. Then go in with your already cooked chicken cut int small chunks. Mix and allow to cook for 2 minutes.

  3. The main star ingredients for this sauce to make that, in a bowl , add 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 table spoon honey , then mix that properly.

  4. Go ahead and add the sauce into the pot., rinse off the bowl from which the sauce came and add to the pot. Add some cayenne pepper for heat and garlic powder for flavour.

  5. In another bowl mix 2 tablespoons of corn flour with warm water, add that to the sauce to thicken, Allow this to simmer for 5 minutes. Note this sauce does not need extra seasoning the soy sauce and oyster does the work.
