BOILED RIPE PLANTAIN AND PEPPER SAUCE

It’s not always all the time we fry our ripe plantain,it can be boiled as well and be enjoyed with any sauce of choice.

Join me as I prepare this mouthwatering meal

  1. Start by cutting and washing your ripe plantain, put into a pot and bring to boil, don't forget to add salt. Cook for 15 minutes till soft.

  2. While you're cooking your plantain,start preparing your pepper sauce ingredients. First slice your onions and set aside.

  3. Use grater to crush your scotch bonnet pepper, don't blend the pepper because we don't want the texture to be smooth.

  4. By this time, your plantain would have cooked well, check the plantain and set aside. Then heat up red oil in a small pot,add the onions and peppers and fry for 5 minutes

  5. Add salt and any other seasoning of your choice. Serve alongside your boiled ripe plantain and enjoy.
