Beans and yam

Beans provide protein, fiber, iron, and antioxidants that can make them a healthful addition to the diet.Yams are rich in many minerals, such as manganese, magnesium, and potassium, which are beneficial for bone health, decrease cholesterol levels, and proper functioning of our heart. The combination of these is a best meal.

  1. Place a pot on fire add water depending on the type of beans you have...bring to boil
  2. Wash your beans and add to the boiling water, add, salt, and diced onions to taste
  3. Cover the pot to boil, while waiting for your beans to get tender...peel your yam and cut into smaller bits
  4. When your beans is almost done....add your pepper and yam simultaneously and add Seasoning or spices
  5. When your yam is boiled for 5mins add palm oil and crayfish powder ...cover and allow to cook on low heat
  6. When you yam and beans is cooked it is ready to be eaten....remove from heat and serve hot
